Type on a PDF, anywhere
Many PDFs look like forms but have no fields to fill: a scanned application, a contract that needs a date, a template exported from Word. Choose Add text, click where the words should begin, and type. The text is written into the PDF as real text — sharp at any zoom, selectable and searchable — not pasted in as an image.
How to add text to a PDF
- Open the PDF above — it is not uploaded.
- Pick Add text in the toolbar.
- Click where the text should start and type. Click again elsewhere for another piece of text.
- Set the typeface, size, weight, letter spacing and colour so it matches the rest of the page.
- Save to download the PDF.
Good for
- Filling in forms that are not fillable
- Adding a date, a name, an address or a reference number
- Writing a note or a correction on a document
- Adding the missing line to an invoice or an offer
Need to change words that are already there rather than add new ones? Just click the line with the edit tool and type over it.
